Island Adventures

We come across this island that on low tide you can walk to and have a swim and just play in the sand.

 

on the walk over to the island there is crabs everywhere which makes it a fun walk because as it is already so hard to walk on sand with thongs, well you kind of need to wear shoes as there's crabs and blue bottles everywhere.

 

but its so worth the walk.

Really pretty and a great spot for a picnic or just to relax.

Aquarium Visit

We took our little man to an Underwater World Aquarium on the weekend,

He loved looking and feeling all the fishes and sharks.

 

 

Our little man kept trying to climb inside all the tanks.

Was a really good day, He slept the whole way home in the car.

Still Here... Haven't Left

Hi Guys,

I'm still here, I know its been a really long time since my last post,

my computer died just before Christmas and then we went on holidays, then time just gets away.

 

So know I have a new computer and I'll be back to regular posts again... yay!

 

 

In the time I've been away from my blog, we have been on 3 holidays well twice to see family, first was over Christmas and the second was for my brothers engagement party.

 

This was there beautiful cake ( How nice yeah? )

 

For our last holiday we went for a beach holiday over Easter, which was so relaxing and great to get away.

our resort was totally decked out for little kids, so our little guy had the best time ever.

Lifestyle Wednesday - First Birthday

First Birthday

So this Friday was our little man's first birthday, we had my mum (nana) and my brother (uncle) come and stay for a week, which was really special because I dont get to see them much since they all live like 5 hours away by plane.

My dad (pa) also came to stay a week before they arrived which was so great.

Then before dad it was my husbands grandparents for the weekend. So yeah its been pretty crazy around here.

Thursday night I was busy making his cake, I made just a plain chocolate cake and cut out a number one and made blue icing and used icing pens and licerish and a Thomas train and a number one to decorate. So yeah it was just a simple cake but I think it turned out alright.

Friday morning I woke up early blu up number one ballons and put a thomas the tank engine banner and blue, red and white streamers around on the table we had a blue table cloth, blue plates and blue bowls and red blue and white streamers and a thomas the tank engine and a silver number one.

Friday we went for a picknick to the beach and made sand castles and had heaps of fun and just relaxed. Then we came home and had the cake which the little man loved we think he got sugar overload because he could not stop laughing the whole time while eating it. It was hilarious and cute.

He recieved so many presents from family and friends, Ill post some photos in our july favourites tomorrow so check that out!!!
