Mummy Mondays - Toddler Stocking Ideas

Start with buying a stocking so you know the size and how much you need to get to fill it with.

you cannot go wrong with some cars for a little boy, extra cars to there collection is always the best.

since we are traveling over Christmas and the holidays we decided to get some dvds so our little guy doesn't get cranky or bored on the travel because its about a 5 hour flight to where we are going.

so a mixture of kids shows or just there favourite show is always good

and well you can never go wrong with Peppa Pig

Pair cards might be fun on the plane or just playing as a family while on holidays.

some beauty items are always a cute idea because there like mum what's this where's the chocolate haha, and it fills the stocking up.

shower gel and soap that I thought we could use on holidays anyway and he loves dinosaurs at the moment.

Let me know your stocking fillers for toddlers!!!

Beach Holiday

We finally got to go on a holiday this week, one we have been waiting for, for months, we only went 1 hour up the road haha to a family resort Turtle Beach Holiday Resort, it was nice the room was really big and was clean but you could feel the springs in the bed which was totally not nice at all, I put the doona and 2 blankets underneath the sheet to help but it barely made a difference we where only there 5 night everyone told us to ask for a new room but we are not those kind of people we will just make do.
one night while we where cooking tea lucky we had just finished the power went out in the whole resort, no idea why we did hear the people under us (yes you could here every conversation through the walls) saying they got a text message that the power would be out for over 5 hours tonight for maitnents?! seemed abit unusual, so we sat there with no power one night.

lets just say probley wont go back there but it was still nice over all.

We got lots of shopping done we went to a bird century which was fun for the little guy.

I also had some skin cancers taken out of my back which hasn't been very nice ive got the stitches in till next Wednesday but there've been uncomfortable to say the least.

these photos are where we mostly spent everyday, at the beach!!

12 Week Ultra Sound - Mummy Mondays

A 20 minute Ultrasound that it should take it took 2 hours because this little bugger wouldn't move into reach for the technician to get the right measurements and readings they where after, but in the end they got there and our little peanuts perfect not abnormality's which is great, but we would still defently love them as much if not the same if they did.

I now cant wait till my 20 week ultra sound let alone hold this little baby in my arms.

Mummy Mondays - Peppa Pig Cakes

While we where doing the grocery shopping on the weekend our little guy was determined to have these cupcakes, so for our Mummy Monday we decided to bake them together, we had lots of fun and lots of mess.

They are Peppa Pig Muddy Puddle cup cakes.

I lost all photos before this part because there was no camera card in my camera ooppss.

I decided to use mini cupcake cases since we where making them just for our little guy but the box does come with 12 normal size cake cases.

(all ready to go into the oven)

And know for the licking of the bowl!

You get 12 icing decorations to put on top of the cupcakes which our little man thought was so funny and still doesn't understand he can still eat them.

and all finished, they do taste pretty yummy

Taste Test, and he approves. Yummmmy!

Dinner Fridays - Teriyaki Stir Fry

I've really been getting into cooking again lately, I hate being in the kitchen for to long so I will cook mostly basic dinners, well I say basic but I mean I will use a stir in sauce rather than make it from scratch, but ill add my own ideas to the reciepe I never follow a reciepe other wise they just taste boring.

Last night a Teriyaki Chicken and Prawn Stir Fry with Asian Noodle

I Started with a heap of mixed vegetables (beans, carrot, baby corn, broccoli, onion) and a teaspoon of garlic and pepper. oh and 1 chicken breast.

Once the chicken and vegetables cooked I put in a good squirt of soy sauce and about a cup of prawns.

then the sauce went in as well as the noodles and mixed all together and I totally forgot to take a photo of the finished product because I was just way to hungry so sorry about that.

Mummy Mondays - Target Toddler Clothing Haul

Hey guys, we went to the DFO today ( which is a big shopping center with all discounted stock from all the last seasons items, so you can get some stuff pretty cheap.)

So we found this Target outlet which was closing down this weekend so everything was under $10 clothes / shoes / makeup / house items. But when we got there the store had been pretty raided :( and there was people everywhere with bags full of clothes.
But when you have a toddler in one arm and trying to push a pram in the other you really can't look through piles of clothes.

But we did get to find heaps of little bargains for our little man that will fit him for next winter which is great because he pretty much has grown out of his winter clothes already :( hes growing so fast.

So we did abit, everything was $5 except the little shorts underneath....

These shorts where from Pumpkin Patch they where $15 but I totally had to have them. I am In love with this shop I was so excitted when I fell pregnant and couldn't wait to shop there, but I never new IT was so dear for baby clothes, dont get me wrong I still shop there but I wont buy most of his clothes from there because he only gets to wear them, no more than 5 to 10 times than he's out grown them so I dont really see the point
in paying $15 to $40 for a tshirt for a toddler or baby.

Anyway so these are my buys from Target all $5 all 12 to 18 months

Blue roll up jeans (super cute)

This shirt goes with the
blue jeans but it could be universal.

I love this shirt I
cannot wait for him to be able to fit into it. It will be super cute.

And these are his new jeans, they have number 82 on the back pocket in so there pretty cute, since his jeans this winter he has nilly worn holes in the knee area beacause he was crawling at the start of winter.

So thats all my buys for my little toddler hope you like any questions happy to answer any!!!
