October Monthly Favourites

October Monthly Favourites, Again I haven't really bought many products this month as I have just been sitting around at home not feeling the best because im in my first trimester of pregnancy, but I still did manage to find some new products ive been loving and these are those. 

 

 

 

 

So first is I got a new phone, im totally in love with and this is the new case I go off of eBay I think it cost around $9. so in love with it

 

 

Next I was doing my groceries at Aldi its like a supermarket store and they have just bought out there own makeup brand so I thought I would try the primer because I was needing a new one anyway and I think it was around $4, it also has spf 15 which is a bonus as its coming in summer here in Australia. oh and it does work really well my makeup looks flawless over top and it really fills in my pores.

 

Lacura beauty face primer 3 in 1

 

Garnier Fructis Pure Volume Dry Shampoo, at first I was not a real fan but ive come to love this and the smell and it doesn't come of powdery.

 

Colgate Optic White Toothpaste, I have been using this all month and ive noticed a real change.

 

Gold Necklace I cannot remember where I bought this from Sorry but ive been wearing this nilly everyday this month I love it.

 



 I got this hat from Kmart which I love and so does my son he wanted to model it for me haha

 

 

Essence water proof mascara I got this because im going to the Gold Coast in 2 weeks which is all about swimming and beaches so I wanted a mascara that would stay on.

Beauty Thursday - Beauty Scenario Tag

1. You have to get rid of all of your foundations and you can only keep one high end and one drug store, which do you choose?

Well that's pretty easy as I only own drugstore foundations, so it would probley be my L'Oreal Paris Lumi Magique

 

 

2. You go for a job interview and the lady interviewing you has lipstick on her teeth do you approach the subject or ignore it?

mmmm.... I think I would tell her, but put me in that situation and Im not sure what I would do I can see my self saying something but who knows.

 

 

 

3.Your not feeling yourself and you need a pick me up which lipstick do you put on to make yourself feel beautiful?

4. You go back in time to your teenage years, how do you do your hair and makeup differently?

oh wow, well I was all about Netball and sport in school I wasn't really into makeup and I think my hair mostly just went up into a pony tail everyday, makeup wasn't really a trend back when I was at school, I do remember I had a blue and a purple mascara which I thought where so cool and I wore those alot.

 

5.You ask your hairdresser for a shoulder pixie lot cut, but they hear wrong and give you a pixie cut, do you A. smile and say thank you and leave call your mum hysterical. B, Cry in the chair and things get orchard or C. complain to the manager and demand a refund.  

I would probley do none of those, you can always work with a bad haircut or a hair cut you where not after, but if its really bad that you cant walk out of the place I would say something but if its not what I asked for but it still looks ok and you can work with it than ill just leave.

 

6.A friend surprises you with a weekend city brake, which do it all palette do you pack in your bag? Revlon Photoready 003 Neutral, I love this palette because you can use it for bronzer, blush and highlighter and also you can make it your eyeshadow palette if you have no time and just want a neutral look.

 

 

7. Your house is being robbed don't worry every one is safe, but your beauty stash has been raided, what's the product you really hope is safe?

as my beauty stash is very small and mostly drugstore products, and mostly all empty haha it would probley be a good thing if it got raided so I had an excuses to go and purchase new products.

 

8.Your friend borrowed your makeup and returns it in awful condition do you A. just pretend you haven't noticed B. ask the to repurchase it or C. secretly do something to there's?

I would never do C. I think I would probley ask them to repurchase it.

August Beauty Favourites

August Beauty Favourites

 

This month I haven't bought many new products its mostly just products I use on a daily bases that I've changed up this month and im enjoying.

 

 

First is this Tresemme Keratin Smooth Shampoo I have been using this for about 4 months now and I love how soft and smooth and health my hair feels after using this shampoo I am In love with this shampoo and for a drug store shampoo its amazing.

 

( Husband loves as well, so that's a bonus. )

 

 

Maybellene Superstay Better Skin in 005 light beige, I bought this about 3 weeks ago and have been using mostly everyday since, I love the coverage and the feel of this foundation, it leaves a matt finish, I wouldn't say it lasts all day, by the end of the day I can see it gone from around my nose and its patchy on my fore head but other than that it is a really pretty finish.

 

Essence Lipstick in 07 natural beauty, this lipstick is a really pretty nude pinky coloured lipstick, I wear this with my nude lip liner and it gives a really pretty colour. The lipstick can defently last a good 5 hours without a touch up and it feels smooth not like a matt lipstick.

 

I received this gold bangle from my husband because this Friday is our 5 year wedding anniversary.

And yes I got to have it early, he couldn't wait to give it to me, and I totally love it.

 

Essence Lipliner 11 in the nude. I have to say I've never been into lipliners so I went out this month and bought my very first lipliner and im totally in love. I will be going to get more colours haha

 

 Palmolive Naturals Invigorating body wash, smells and leaves your skin so feeling so soft and clean, and while its winter here where I live I don't use fake tan or exfoliating body washes in winter so this is a great alternative. 

 

Last is my Japanese Cherry Blossom body spray from The Body Shop, it smells amazing and lasts all day, I also received this for my anniversary, and yes I picked it out haha.

Beauty Thursday - Mummy Go To MakeUp

Hi Guys,

So recently I've been really busy always running out the door in the mornings, after getting my little toddler breakfast getting him dressed getting our puppy food making sure he's eating and making sure he's going to the toilet (TMI I know). But I've been finding I've been using only drug store (very cheap products) and well I have to say they last me all day and after running around after my little man and our little puppy. But in saying that I do still love my hi end makeup products that I have, when I'm all done up in them I fell well more dolled up and pretty and well it hard to explain, but you know what I mean. Ha ha.

So I thought I would let you guys know what I have been using when I just have to run to the shops or to a not very important meeting and I don't have time or well couldn't be bothered to pull out all my hi end makeup so my toddler can brake and take it all over the house, so I just use my drug store and even supermarket makeup and I love some of these products......

 

OK first is I always lather my whole face neck and arms with OLAY Moisturiser, I absolutely love this stuff I Love the smell and texture I have been using this since I was about 12 ha ha no joke my mother brought me up on this stuff also. I use it morning and night. ( you can buy from most drug stores, chemists, supermarkets.)

 

2. OLAY Regenerest again I love Olay products my mum has been using them all her life and she has amazing skin and she's 55 and barley has wrinkles. I got send this sample size about 12 months ago and I've been using it morning and night and ill defiantly be repurchasing this product I love it.

 

3. Starlet Natural Cream Coverage,  This is my favorite products of all time I know all you makeup pros out there are cringing right know but this is my most use tinted/foundation moisturiser that is great so my skin that is cheap and it blends amazing especially when you only want a light coverage when your just doing mummy ernes.

 

4. Rimmel London Match Perfection Concealer 2 in 1 I've mentioned this before in a favorites blog I use this everyday, but I'm thinking I might get a new type soon I'm getting alittle bored with this one ha ha.

 

5.W7 All over powder this powder is alittle dark for me but as it is coming into summer hear I'm starting to get my tan back so its good.

 

6. Maybellene dream terra sun Bronzer, I only got this bronzer last week its alittle light but I'm starting to like it.

 

7. Maybellene Blush, I love blush I change blush each day but I seem to use this colour more. (I can do a blog about the different colours and brands I have as most of them are cheap drug store brands)

 

8.Maybellene masterliner Eye liner and Maybellene colosal volume express mascara sorry I've mispacled the lid for the eyeliner. Mascara I've used in a favourites blog. I also don't always use eyeliner but I defiantly always have to have mascara on, even if I don't leave the house.

 

9. L'Oréal Paris colour appeal trio pro shadow this seems to be my favourite smokey eye palet that I always seem to use when in a hurry. But I defiantly don't always use eye shadow.

 

And that's it.

 

So its very basic and very cheap products.

Beauty Thursday - August Beauty Favourites

These are my beauty favorites for this month, I've bought them all this month and are totally loving them.

I got this while I was on holidays last week, it's my new travel makeup bag by Forever New, I think its so cute I love it :) It fits so much in even tho it looks small its a perfect size for a weekend away or just a short holiday where you dont need too much makeup.

Revlon Colourstay 24hrs foundation (240 medium beige)

Ive been needing a new one for awhile now But was deciding on Revlon and Channel but after watching my favourite youtubers they all recommended Revlon Colourstay. 

Now Im totally obsessed with it i cant get it off my face haha.

My husband told me i took more mature (not sure if thats a good thing or what haha)

New make up brush to apply my foundation

Its so soft I love It

Dove gentle exfoliating nourishing body wash with exfoliating beads

Smells so nice, If you know dove products they leave a real soapy And clean smell over your body, and when self tanning you dont get any Imperfections on your skin.

Im in love with this nail colour this month (i know i keep saying im in love with all these products) but the colour is really pretty its like a pinky red and it stays on glossy, it lasts about a week with just 2 coats. It even stays on a week after chasing around a toddler its pretty good for a drug store nail polish and i think it was only $2 BONUS!!

My new hair oil as i left my favourite one at my mums house :( well i kinda gave it to her to try and forgot to get it back and thought i would just buy a new one but they dont make it anymore  so im trying this on, it's Schwarzkopf hair repair daily oil elixir for all hair types. I towel dry my hair for around half an hour then i put about 2 pumps in my finger tips and work it through my hair then blow bry.

Beauty Thursday - July Beauty Favourites

These are my beauty favorites for July

I've been using some of these products for years

But I keep coming back to them, so here they are.

Aveda Be Curly hair gel. 

I use this just after I've washed my hair and its still wet, ill put around about a 50cent piece amount all through my ends, then I scrunch dry my hair with my hair dryer.

My new rimmel london match perfection foundation, I like It to wear as a everyday foundation if i have not got much on because its not heavy its only light on.

(It is alittle oily, so i do have to put powder over top)

BYS Peach Sundae blush I love love love this colour Its so cute.

 

Rimmel London 100% waterproof mascara.

I bought this because of all the funerals I've been to lately, but I've been using everyday because I love the texter and the length It gives my lashes.

Toni & Guy Creative hairspray, smells good and lasts forever.

Schwarzkropt Taft Curl Mousse. I use this on day two after I've blow dried my hair, works great on dry hair.
