Adventure Sunday - Road Trip

We got our new car last night so my husband was desperate to take it for a good drive up the motor way so we thought it was a good opportunity to go to the beach for the day so off we went and wasn't it an amazing day!!!

Our little guy loves the beach, especially the sand, I think we come home with more sand That's at the beach ha ha

Our new car our little guy kept saying "new car, new car" all day ha ha

Adventure Sunday - Christmas Family Holiday

Off on our family holiday we go, first we have to drop our little puppy :( off at the dog resort for the week.

  but he does love going there so that's ok.

Ha ha Jasper's little hoody jumper....so cute!

Then it was off to the airport, and onto a 4 hour flight to my parents house where they live in the desert so its so hot its crazy.

  

Then we just spent the afternoon in the pool.

Island Adventures

We come across this island that on low tide you can walk to and have a swim and just play in the sand.

 

on the walk over to the island there is crabs everywhere which makes it a fun walk because as it is already so hard to walk on sand with thongs, well you kind of need to wear shoes as there's crabs and blue bottles everywhere.

 

but its so worth the walk.

Really pretty and a great spot for a picnic or just to relax.

Adventure Sunday - Big Boy

My little boy is not a little boy anymore :(

We had got him a single bed a couple of months ago and its been set up in his room for him just to play on and read his books on and just get used to the idea if the bed.

Last Saturday when we put him down for his nap in his cot about 20 minutes later his bedroom door opened and out he came, I screamed "OMG how did you get out" but yes he had learnt he could climb out, so that night was such a fun night he kept climbing out every half an hour until 4am the next morning.

 

So the next night we both decided that we would put him in his "big boys bed" and see how he goes, Because we have tiles in our bedrooms and its cot is quite high. He went to bed at 7pm and didn't move till 7am the next morning and has been doing that every night since, so proud of him!!!

 

 

Today we packed up the cot, we gave him a screw driver to help and he loved that.

 

 

 

 

 

 

No more Little Baby :(

Aquarium Visit

We took our little man to an Underwater World Aquarium on the weekend,

He loved looking and feeling all the fishes and sharks.

 

 

Our little man kept trying to climb inside all the tanks.

Was a really good day, He slept the whole way home in the car.

Adventure Sunday - Back From Holiday

So we are back from seeing my parents interstate, we had an amazing time, but because they live in a cyclone proof house I get no reception only if I walked out onto the street and to add to the for some reason my phone and iPad would not charge so I'm not sure what was going on there. I had so much planned to blog about while I was away but didn't get to because of stupid technology wouldn't charge or had no reception so I gave up.

We had a great time while my hubby was off at a convention at a different side of Australia so we where all so far apart but we did Skype a couple of times and our little man loved to see daddy on the computer it was cute he had the biggest smile and even giggled and daddy being funny!!!

We got to see some amazing sunsets on the beach (picture added) we also went to a teddy bear picnic which was adorable all the little kids and babies with there teddies. So cute.

We went one a river cruise but it was a crocodile jumping river cruise so that was fun and scary.

Done some shopping, went to heaps of markets and just swam in the pool most days because it was so hot.

Adventure Sunday - Packing More

Today we finished off most of the packing 

Undone most of the furniture,

While our little guy helped out!!!

He loved helping out daddy pull apart the beds

 ( well kinda helped, more like got in the way)

 Then it was outside to pack the rest of the pots and clean up the gardens,

While our little man was investigating a pot,

He started digging in it then descided to push it over.

Yes it was bath time after that.

Now its bed time and its freezing cold, 

Waiting for my yummy dinner to cook....

Adventure Sundays - Day At The Park

First play at a play ground today with Nana, We had so much fun, he wasnt quiet sure what to think with the swing, he was some interested In watching his shadow going backwards and forwards.

The slide was abit hot but he still had fun.

 

 

 

Adventure Sunday - Packing

Lying in bed, all nice and warm. Husbands in shower getting ready for work,  and baby is still sound asleep.

I could get used to this, just need that  coffee.

Today is a day of packing boxes. So far I've packed 6 boxes, yay go me, so much more to go.

Didn't think packing up a house with a baby would be so difficult, especially since everything is an investigation and everything has to go straight into the mouth.
So wrapping thing in newspaper, forget it, that's impossible, baby's mouth and hands end up black and its a huge mess.
