November Favourites

My November products are mostly beauty products this month as I haven't really been wearing to much makeup just the minimum mostly bb creams and mascara.

 

 

 

The first one is a Palmolive Ayurituel energy shower gel and OMG it smells AMAZING we have gone through 2 bottles just this month its amazing. can't saying anything else about it you have to go and try it.

 

 

 Garnier Skin Naturals Radiance Boosting Scrub this is perfect for sensitive skin as the scrub is very fine, I use this to remove my makeup in the shower then I use my proper makeup remover to remove the excess after im out of the shower. but it smells great and doesn't irritate my skin.

 

 My husband actually bought this for me the other day yes weird I know but he new I liked them and they where on special so he got one and its the Nivea Fruity Shine Strawberry flavor lipgloss.

tastes good haha feels nice and moisturisers the lips really well and last a long time which I like.

 

Aveda Be Curly this is an amazing product it helps to keep your curls tight or you can wear them for beach waves its great and smells so good.

 

 

Veet Wax Strips with east grip, these hurt like a bitch but they work. I used them for the first time last week and usually I have to shave my legs every 2 days but its been 2 weeks and my legs are perfect and smooth.

 Matrix total results Purple Shampoo and Conditioner, I got my hair done two weeks ago at the hairdressers, while I was on the coast last week my hair started to go dry and yuck so I bought this purple shampoo pack and my hair looks brand new every time I was it.

 

Garnier Hand intensive 7 days repair. this is the most Moisturising hand cream I have come across it smells great also.

Eye Lash glue I have been loving I bought from a cheap beauty store but it works really well

 

Lovisa Necklace im obsessed with there necklaces at the moment

 

Fossil wallet/ purse im in total love with this I can fit everything from baby wipes to my phone I can just take that the way it is or pop it in my hand bag.

that's all my Favourites this month, can't believe next month will be December Favourites this year is going so quick.

Lifestyle Wednesday - Ikea Visit

 Today we went to Ikea to try and find our little guy a new cupboard / bookshelf for his room to put his toys and books but we could not find anything that would go with our house that we already have because his bedroom is pretty much in the middle of the house, well you can see inside his room when sitting in the lounge room so we wont it to all flow with the other furniture around.

 

but we did find some other stuff that we didn't really need but you know we had to get anyway because its Ikea they have everything.

 

We also went to some other furniture stores and stopped of at a little play center inside the shopping mall while we had coffee our little guy got to play for abit.

 

 



Lifestyle Wednesdays - First Rugby Game

My Parents where up for a week last week and they are rugby mad so any chance they get to go to a footy game there, their.

 

This was our little guys very first rugby game Manly Sea Eagles Vs. Brisbane Broncos at Suncorp Stadium.

 

We had to get a bus from our car so our little guy enjoyed that as that was his first time on a bus also, he was smiling the whole time on the bus. 

 

 

He didn't really like the idea of having to sit in the one spot for such a long time.

 

 

 

He liked when the crowed all cheered!!!

 

 

 

It was a good game considering the wrong team won ha ha

Epileptic Mummy

For those who read my blog (thank you) you would now know that I have a little toddler, Our little guy didn't come easy for me and my husband, it took us around 2 years to fall pregnant and alot of appointments with my neurologist to try and get the ok from him and make sure my medication was safe for a baby.

 

So after 2 years of trying to conceive my husband and I where starting to think that it was not going to happen naturally and we might have to look at options, but in the end we fell pregnant and after 5 yes 5 at home pregnancy test and 1 at the doctors and a blood test we where officially pregnant ha ha
I had a pretty boring pregnancy :( I never had morning sickness never had cravings had major mood swings (pore husband) and had cramping the whole way through, then I had a routine check up on my due date and they decided that they wanted to induce me so I wouldn't get to stressed so that afternoon we went in after trying to sleep all morning (which we didn't, because we where to excited ) they put the gel on and told me to sleep the night and in the morning they will give me the needle and brake my waters but at about 8pm that night I was getting really bad contractions and they took me to the ward and at 6:05am that morning our little guy was born.

 

 

So this is where ill tell you how I'm an epileptic mummy. So when I was born I had a stroke which coursed me to get 3 holes in my brain, I was seizure free till around 14/15 years of age (when I met my husband the same year) I had my first Grand Mal seizure late one night at a friends house and was put straight on anti epileptic meds it took a while to find the right ones but I'm now on the best ones I think, I've been on these ones for around 5 years they do make me abit moody and hungry, but I can deal with that I have had only ever 5 Grand Mal seizures mostly if I've had a big night or I'm extremely tired or something dramatic has happened in my life so I do have to stick to a routine.

I do suffer from myoclonic seizures usually on a weekly basis, that can really suck sometimes, when your in a social situation or just in general really.

I've learnt that different foods and drinks can set me off so I stay clear of those and playing with my phone and computer in the dark that's a big no no!

Oh I'm currently taking Topamax 50mg twice a day.

 

But Since having our little guy it has not effected him in anyway he is a health happy toddler and exceeding all his growth and learning skills everyday.

 

We can't wait to do it all over again.

Lifestyle Wednesday - Puppy Haul

I thought I would give you guys an update on the products we got for little jasper.

This is Jaspers bedding and day bed I have a door rug at the front of the bedding just to keep that area clean then ttheres a big mink blenket underneath to keep him lifted and worm until we can get a basket.

Now this is Jaspers day bed where he'll sit and sleep but mostly he just follows our little toddler around all day haha

We got this toy yesterday he loves to chase it around

Hes had this from the day he was born the pet shop gave it to us ... it squiks.

We bought this rope when we found out we where getting a puppy and he loves playing tug a war with It.

All these products are from Kmart just the toy from the pet shop that we got the puppy from 

Lifestyle Wednesday - Our New Family Member

We got our little puppy guys and OMG he is so adorable he is 8 weeks old and so little and tinny and so cute and omg hes just so little haha

His name is Jasper and hes a Maltese x Cavalier king charles 

Jasper has a real caracter about him he loves to play and our little toddler is loving having him they are still learning each others boundrys but that will take some time.

My little man and I are off to Darwin NT in about 3 weeks, while daddy is at a conference for a week,

 we are going to Darwin to visit my parents, so looking forward to that.

Lifestyle Wednesday - My Birthday

My Birthday

On Friday it was my birthday, Since I've just moved to a new town and a new state all my family and friends are so far away so I just got to spend the day with my favourite little man, while my favourite big man...ha ha... was at work.

We also had a plumber here all day (well all week) because our new house had a cracked pipe in the bathroom, which was not fun. I was in the shower last week and the bathroom started to flood. Yay... 

This is the hole in my bathroom after the plumbers have been jackhammering and taken the cracked pipes away. They have been back and fixed the pipes.

So now they just have to bed it, tiles and the toilet back and hopefully its back to brand new.

So that was not a nice birthday present I wanted.

But I did get a beautiful present from my hubby.

Isn't that beautiful, I love it so much! 

I also received a massive bunch of chocolates from my little man and heaps of gift vouchers for different stores and just some cash.

And my mummy got me a sewing machine, so keep an eye out ill be doing sewing blogs soon ha ha. My other sewing machine died so i really needed one.

Oh i also got some make up some jewellery and slippers.

Yeah i got spoilt.

And my husband bought me an icecream cake, which i think our little man enjoyed more than us ha ha.

We couldn't find any candles so I didn't get candles this year. But. Oh well I think I'm old enough now.

This weekend we done more gardening and took our little man for his 12 month injections, it was daddy's turn to hold him this time because I've done it every other time, we where worried he was going to scream and jump up because he hates sitting still for to long but the doctor went 1,2,3 look at this purple dragon and put the needle in and he didn't even realise. It was weird!!! So we where so happy with him!

Our gardens are pretty much finished, well not really we still have to plant a couple more plants and lay all the river rock then we are done. ( out the back anyway.) Once we are finished out the back we will do the front, i think we are going to make a new garden out the front which will chance the look of the house, which i want. I want to put my stamp on the house.

Lifestyle Wednesday - First Birthday

First Birthday

So this Friday was our little man's first birthday, we had my mum (nana) and my brother (uncle) come and stay for a week, which was really special because I dont get to see them much since they all live like 5 hours away by plane.

My dad (pa) also came to stay a week before they arrived which was so great.

Then before dad it was my husbands grandparents for the weekend. So yeah its been pretty crazy around here.

Thursday night I was busy making his cake, I made just a plain chocolate cake and cut out a number one and made blue icing and used icing pens and licerish and a Thomas train and a number one to decorate. So yeah it was just a simple cake but I think it turned out alright.

Friday morning I woke up early blu up number one ballons and put a thomas the tank engine banner and blue, red and white streamers around on the table we had a blue table cloth, blue plates and blue bowls and red blue and white streamers and a thomas the tank engine and a silver number one.

Friday we went for a picknick to the beach and made sand castles and had heaps of fun and just relaxed. Then we came home and had the cake which the little man loved we think he got sugar overload because he could not stop laughing the whole time while eating it. It was hilarious and cute.

He recieved so many presents from family and friends, Ill post some photos in our july favourites tomorrow so check that out!!!

Lifestyle Wednesday - Moved House

We have finally moved into our new house.

We have got our house all unpacked now its just at the stage of working out where we put everything and organsing all the cupboards (the fun stage ).

Our little man wasn't effected by the move, the first thing we did when we got here was build his room so it was to look the same as the last house, we do want to change some things but gradually we will do that. Cannot beleive he will be 11 months next week this month has gone so quick, ill update you on his progress in his monthly update.

My husband went back to work today after having 5 days off to move so that was nice and very helpful for me because there was no way I could have moved with our little man while he was working.

Its so quiet at our new house before we lived on a main road which was so loud now its so quiet you want to make noise ha ha.

Well ill keep you updated and check out for 11 month update, soon it will be a first birthday :)

Lifestyle Wednesday - Moving Update

 

Today is all about packing packing and more packing, the joys of moving house I look around and I think I don't have much more to do,  but then you sit down and really look around, THERES SO MUCH I DONT THINK ILL HAVE ENOUGH TIME aarrrhhh

So I need to get up out of bed have breakfast with my hubby before he's off to work then its breakfast time for the little man.

Then the fun of packing and cleaning begins.

Lifestyle Wednesday - Half Packed

As you may already know, we are moving house and we move in a couple of weeks

I'm almost half packed, and so over it already, I have so much more to do.  Aarrhh I think I'm going to go insane by the end of it all.

Next is packing up the rest of the little mans room, then our room. So much to do.

Lifestyle Wednesday - Special Outfit

Where off to a funeral on Monday for my very beautiful special pa. Who past away on Thursday,  which I was lucky enough to spend the last hours with and got to tell him I loved him. :(

So we went and bought a special outfit for our little man today, as my pa loved the country and will love that he is in a cowboy shirt and his first pair of jeans.
